E3 in Two Weeks

Hey everyone, just a reminder that E3 starts up in two weeks. The conferences will air on June 9th and 10th, and the show officially opens on the 10th. I imagine the insane folks at GotGame will once again bring Bores along, where he will dedicate like 3 minutes to games people actually care for, then hours to Skylanders.

Speaking of, he posted yet another Skylanders video. The subs dropped again. He will never learn...

As for my storyline analysis, I want to wait for the TotalActionAdventure review to get posted so I can learn which episodes are on the DVD, and thus which episodes he considers part of his "movie".

EDIT: So Chris finally answered why he keeps doing stupid Skylanders videos. Special thanks to RndmAZN for informing me about it, and to Ladyluvlygaga for the image.

He claims he keeps doing them because he earns more from them than regular IG videos.
... I find that really hard to believe.
Sure, maybe when you started doing these videos and they were somehow getting a ton of views. But now you've alienated most of your fans, drove off a ton of your subscribers, and the views on the Skylanders videos really aren't much better than all your other videos.
Maybe you earned a lot that time you came back from New York and posted like 11 videos? But that's the DarkSydePhil way of "earning money", you spam a bunch of videos that alone won't get many views but culminated they'll start making something. That doesn't mean people like them. By the way, as often as DSP complains about barely getting views and need more subscribers, he still gets way more views than Bores. Seriously, what does Bores do for a living outside of this?

I think the real reason he keeps doing them is so Activision can keep sending him free shit. He knows the fans hate it, but he doesn't care because Activision and GotGame keep giving him free crap for no reason. I am curious what Chris will do when Skylanders crashes and he's left with piles of worthless plastic. Try to sell them using his name? HA!

Back to the point of what he does for a living... I think he's doing paid ghost hunts.
My Facebook informant saw an image he recently posted where he said he partook in a ghost hunt with a "ton of fans", and by "ton" he means "around 20" (going by the picture). Do people pay him to ghost hunt? That's... depressing.

  1. I hope they don't bring Bores to E3 this year. It's just going to be another disaster as always. And I can't wait for your storyline analysis, BadDan, now that it's "complete", we can now fully and properly critique the thing from start to finish. And I'm going to bet that if it were a real movie, it'd make Jack and Jill look Oscar worthy.

    1. You hope he doesn't go to E3? Stuff like that is the whole reason this blog exists! If Bores isn't there, I'll start to worry that we as a group are past our glory days and maybe winding down- last month will have been the peak, I suppose.

I realize that's the kind of thing that happens and is maybe not a tragedy, but I don't know what I'll do with the energy I've put into reading and commenting on this marvelous blog. I'll deal with it if it happens, but let's keep our hopes up for another year of stammering redundancies in the inimitable Bores style.

    3. Jack and Jill? My friend you're aiming too high. I bet Bores' "movie" is capable of making Manos: The hands of fate look like Citizen Kane. :P
And even if we don't want him to go to E3 as he has never deserved it, GotGame will still take it because they're fools and because they need traffic... how much traffic Bores actually generate is beyond me, though.

    4. Exactly. I cannot wait to see him gloss over many anticipated games, bungle other ones; and yammer on about Skylanders Trap Team while my attention will be focused on Sunset Overdrive, Hyrule Warriors, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U, Batman Arkham Knight, Kingdom Hearts III, Star Wars Battlefront; and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

  2. I don't think he'll ever learn. Either that or he just doesn't care and has sold out to Activision completely. Either way, just from the comments that can be seen, most of the fans aren't happy at all about it.

    1. It's so infuriating that he doesn't want to listen to constructive criticism.

      Delete
    2. Yeah, that's part of the reason I dislike Bores so much. If he would just LISTEN to the criticisms people have for him, rather than pretending to be his own mother to "fend off the haters", I wouldn't see anything wrong with him. If he did listen to people's criticisms, I'd just see him as a mediocre reviewer who's trying to improve, but since he doesn't I see him as an egotistical jackass who doesn't care about his work.

    3. I'm pretty sure it's his autism that's preventing Chris from listening to criticisms, same reason to why he can't grow up from his childish ways and improve. Saying that already reminds me of Christian Weston Chandler. That guy's now a step away from being homeless with all his financial troubles, after already losing his house from a fire HE caused.

(Oh, and hi guys! This is my first post here! *waves*)

    7. Bores has autism? I didn't know that.

    8. well there's 2 things that need to be considered. Based on Bore's constant demonstrations of broken thought process and learning disabilities as well as odd hobbies and inability to make a real joke; we must conclude that he does in fact have a disorder as the very definition of a disorder is anomalous behavior that impairs daily life funcitons and is non-normative.

Autism is an umbrella term for disorder's relating to learning that impairs social development and the ability to communicate. A form of communication is story-telling and response to criticism. Chris Bore's story is both terrible, full of power fantasy and barely about pre-school level. His social interaction with fans and critics is absolutely egotistical and also barely intelligible. Therefore it can be concluded that Chris Bores has a disorder in that he is incapable of learning proper social interactions though we should leave it to professionals to find out what specific case of autism he really does have.

  3. He'll probably claim that he'll be at Nintendo's nonexistent press conference, just like last year.

  4. Well, since it is almost time for E3 might as well do this again. My E3 predictions. Let me start with Nintendo. Nintendo will wow people with Smash Bros. Zelda Wii U, and that new IP Miyamoto has been working on but people will still find something to complain about. Sony and Microsoft are most likely going to have rather mediocre conferences and the games they choose for E3 will be all flash and no substance while people defend both. PC gamers are just going to insult all three.

    2. All I say is Nintendo *needs* to be actually present on E3 next year.
Shows a bad message as a company when you skip the main event of the year.
But yeah, they better show Zelda this time. They really need it.
Showing some third party games or announcements about it for the U would help, too.

      Delete
    3. They were present at E3 last year and are still there. They just find the press conferences pointless, which they are. I really wouldn't call any sort of convention the main event of gaming all things considered. Not to mention the fact that gaming media is getting about as hypocritical as any other sort of media. I do believe most or at least some people have shown that the whole third party thing with Nintendo is a vicious cycle. An example is a company makes one game clearly focused on one console but makes said game for Nintendo. They assume that since the console is less powerful that it would not be able to handle it and rather than optimizing it for said console chooses to essentially butcher it. Said game does not sell well on said console because people can easily find if the quality is worth purchase or not. Said company blames Nintendo instead of their own ineptitude and swears off Nintendo consoles meaning less third party developers will go to said console and those that do will not try to optimize their games.

      Delete
    4. Well, I don't know about you but as far as being able to get in touch with the press and create good will for your company:
      Physical presence > digital conference.
Now, I've read all the generic Nintendo Internet Defense Force excuses you wrote in Gamefaqs many times before including the "E3 isn't the most important event" one. No need to repeat them.
And before you jump for my throat please keep in mind I've owned all Nintendo home consoles to date (I still use my SNES actually) and I *have* a Wii U plugged to my TV waiting for my copy of MK8.
What I really want is Nintendo to*do* something to recover third party support and show people why they should care about the U.
They're being too passive ad their marketing efforts this gen have been awful. They need to fix that, and isolating themselves with digital conferences isn't helping them, surely you can see that.

    5. "Now, I've read all the generic Nintendo Internet Defense Force excuses you wrote in Gamefaqs"
That "you" should be a "they" my mistake.

    6. How about this I will start thinking E3 actually does something for developers when Sony and Microsoft actually treat it with a modicum of respect. By which I mean no bloody cars in the show room and getting rid of those bull excrement things they call a preview for a game that are outright lying. If it is such a main event of gaming why aren't the games important?

      Delete
    7. The games take a backseat because from a business point of view it's all about the PR and looking good.
You can't deny E3 was a massive hit for Sony's PS4 last year that brought the console a lot of good will; the same way it was a massive disaster for the XBone that brought that console scorn. Or that not being there put Nintendo at an even bigger disadvantage when it comes to the mainstream audience.
Both the PS4 and XBone are doing a good job appealing to the masses, such a good job they were even featured in Big Bang Theory while the Wii U was not even mentioned (which sucks) in what was pretty much a big commercial. And that's where Nintendo's failing.
The point is that we're both gamers, we care about this stuff so we look at it in a different way the mainstream audience does.
And, for better or worse, E3 is now aimed at the mainstream, that's how the business works these days.
Us nerds already have the internet for our gaming conversations, but the average joe would still rather look for boobs, that's why a big event like E3 matters, it makes noise.

    8. Well, we still don't know what exactly they entail with the Smash Bros. Tournament that they will be hosting at E3. All most people know is that they are inviting big names in that competitive scene.

I am asking since, well let me put it bluntly, eventually I am going to write fanfiction about fanfiction. Yes, I know it sounds weird but that is essentially what the PPC is. 1. Indeed. It could be an expansion on the Pokémon Rumble U if it does come to fruition; and it helps that the Trophies in Smash Bros. have been there since before anyone, not even Boring Man, knew what a Skyalnder was. I may not be the biggest trading figure game fan; but I wonder how it will work from a gameplay standpoint. I think it could make some creative use of both the hardware and software; and it helps that unlike Skylanders (now I'm certain that I'm going to get the Playstation Network versions of the first three Spyro games); I do have an interest on the characters Nintendo has at their disposal.

  8. I really hate how Bores gets to talk about Skylanders for eleven minutes but when it comes to other games, he's like 'Meh, I'll only talk about them for two minutes. NOW MOAR SKYLANDERS!'

Why can't he be like Pixel Dan? Pixel Dan may be a huge He-Man fan but when he goes to toy conventions, he still talks about other toys (Like Transformers and NECA) for more than ten minutes! And even not all of his reviews are solely He-Man related!

    2. Exactly. While I do maintain appearances in the Pokémon fandom the best I can; I don't put all my cards on that table. I've been trying to expand for some time; and I think my review of X-Men: Days of Future Past that I did for my YouTube channel (which I'm about to upload) is over 16 minutes long, with about half that being on how much I enjoyed the story and how they approached Quicksilver! I mean, heaven forbid Chris show enthusiasm beyond Activision's newest cash cow when there are scads of other anticipated games he talks fuck-all about! It even took the game a while to catch on in my area, and even then it's still barely mentioned in both the target audience and the periphery demographic in Oregon. Hopefully he won't do anything as bad as he did with Ubisoft; but the year's barely half-over and I already have some ideas about my worst moments list. E3 is a goldmine for them (I believe Lysander has a word for his "Nintendo is Kiddy" statement, as does Ghetsis).

  9. Here is one thing I have been wondering for a bit shorter than my usual wonderings. What kind of games that PC offers over console, of good quality natch, that aren't shooters are there?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Speaking as a PC newcomer myself, I can tell you that point-and-click adventure games and RPGs are incredible on PC. I've played the original Fallout and Ultima IV, both of which have a lot more depth than the console RPGs I usually play. The point-and-click adventure games, such as Beneath a Steel Sky and I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, offer compelling stories and possess interesting characters even if a walkthrough is practically mandatory with them. I'm not sure how much my word is worth, considering most of my PC game catalog comes from GOG, but I think those two genres in particular are better done on PCs than on consoles.

Take my advice, get a GOG account; not only is most of the library optimized for the majority of computers (I have Windows 8 which can't play most games at all and GOG is compatible with it), but they also offer free games occasionally and is generally a much better service than Steam.

    2. Well... brace yourself micharion here comes the massive list.

The list of games that aren't shooters but are great and exclusive to PC.
      Honorable mention: Mechwarrior

      1. Space Ranger series
      2. Sim City series
      3. Sword of the stars series
      4. Galactic civilization series
      5. Civilization series (Revolution excluded)
      6. Age of wonder series
      7. Total War series
      8. Battle Realm
      9. Drox operative
      10. Ground control series
      11. Age of Empire series
      12. Age of mythology
      13. Blitzkrieg
      14. Act of war
      15. Achron (though admittedly this wasn't as good as it should have been)
      16. Ai War
      17. Last federation
      18. Homeworld series
      19. C&C generals
      20. Company of heroes series
      21. Dark reign series
      22. IMpossible Creatures
      23. KKND series
      24. Warcraft series
      25. Jagged Alliance series
      26. Silent storm series
      27. Nexus jupiter incident
      28. Supreme commander series (unless you really like 2 or you enjoy watching your xbox 360 struggle to render a 1000 units).
      29. Wargames series
      30. Most if not all the fun star wars games were PC exclusive or better on pc
      31. Mods for your games
      32. Warfront turning point
      33. Men of war series
      34. Dawn of war series
      35. Xcom baby!
      36. UFO series
      37. World in conflict
      38. And loads of other games I've missed.

TL:DR The pc has an excellent precision input device known as the mouse and the many buttons on the keyboards allow for many functions to be bound to buttons. This allows for greater amounts of strategic options and thus greater amounts of pc exclusive strategy games. In addition PC gamers get greater access to western RPGs and MOBA type games again due to how awesome a mouse and keyboard is.

    3. While I am sure that mods can be used to enhance games there is one thing that has been bugging me about a fair number of people on youtube. They almost immediately say that if a game is broken that it is okay since mods will fix it. That one line annoys me to no end since it takes accountability off of the people who should actually make sure the game works properly without obvious bugs.

Also there is one thing about pc that is bugging me. What happens if the graphics get to advanced will the old games just become unplayable? I am asking that since recently-ish I tried playing Diablo and it was essentially rendered unplayable for some reason. To point out specifics the game would load but the color is more than a bit screwed up. I really don't know how to explain it.

      Delete
    4. AH yes the old mod question... Yeah its a bullshit argument that a game that sucks will be made better if it has mods. There are VERY few examples of games that suck getting great mods. If a game sucks, it usually because the engine was poorly coded and if the engine is poorly coded then mods won't help... ever. In addition a game that sucks are unlikely to have modders because they don't have an audience and they don't have an audience because the game is unappealing. Some games get lucky... others not so much. I still can't think of any great examples of games that are only good for mods; unless you count ARMA 2 in which case you're also admitting you hate military simulators.

As for the games getting outdated and runnable. Yeah that's going to happen and its up to developer community to continue to find ways to get old games to run on newer and different systems. Switching to windows 8 has not reduced my old library of games by even a small margin but it has prevented me from playing an old favorite "Conquest frontier wars", for everything else there's compatibility mode and if that doesn't work, there's always the hopeful chance that there's a compatibility patch. Old blizzard games run in 256 colors or something like that, so you'll need to mess with color settings in order to prevent rainbow colors from showing up. Simply adjust your display settings or the compatibility settings.

Last but not least, if things get too hectic in the future and gamers find themselves missing 100s of games due to newer operating systems (and they can't switch to older operating systems because their drivers won't run on older operating systems) there's tools that simulate older operating systems that can be used. Tools such as Dosbox and VMware.

    5. I don't hate shooters, I don't hate any genre of game, it's just that I find most shooters that have come out recently are pointless. In fact the only shooter that I really like is Unreal Tournament 2004, and a bit of TF2 but not that often. I can only hope that since Epic Games is going entirely with the community that Unreal Tournament 4 doesn't become another generic shooter. Also, I may have become slightly resentful because of the vocal minority of pc gamers on youtube. Really doesn't help when they use master race to describe themselves, and no I don't care if it is a joke the connotations of it remove any humor it might have for me.

Well there's a reason most people are convinced these days that the FPS genre is over-saturated and boring.

In my opinion while there are alot of FPS games getting released... most of them suck. It might be over-saturated but that's because people keep buying that shit. Just because its got the words "walking dead" or "Call of camping" on it you shouldn't buy it! Honestly gamers these days...

That said there's been really good ones recently like Far Cry 3, Metro, Crysis and uh.... well... huh. I kinda like Borderlands 2 but it has a terrible loot system and I can't get any good weapons even after 10 hours in the game.

    1. My headcanon is that the evil twin is still in control of the show, INTENTIONALLY driving it further and further down the hole it was already stuck in to piss people off, while the "Evil Gamer" we know is actually the original 2007 Irate Gamer trying to reclaim the show for himself before the actual evil twin does something legitimately MURDEROUS with it!

"But what about Evil Gamer working for the Shadow Overlord to take over the world?"

It was just a means to an end to get Current!Gamer out of commission. Original!Gamer wasn't phased very much when the Shadow Overlord died (Screw it, I'm having pizza), so I can safely assume that HE was just going to kill off the Overlord at some point, anyway.

...I have no idea where I was going with this, but damn, it's strong fanfic fuel!

      Delete
    2. I prefer the following: The shadow overlord doesn't exist by virtue of him doing absolutely nothing except looking villainous. Evil gamer does absolutely nothing too. Chris Bore's friends are all inconsistent and with the exception of wise sage, not living beings. Last but not least, Chris seems convinced that stock special effects that weren't impressive 10 years ago is somehow a lot of effort and hard work, which is probably a symptom of THC abuse. You see the reason why the show keeps getting worse is because Chris is having financial difficulty and thus is losing access to his supply of THC. The pixel demon was a symptom of THC overdose while the shadow overlord disappearing at the end was Chris running out of THC what with Evil Gamer saying "screw it, I'm not jacked up high enough to pretend I'm evil". The crowds of people cheering that are mostly him, that's Chris hallucinating as he is finally wheeled into rehab.

Notice that Chris seriously wouldn't have any amount of crowd cheering for him especially considering that other people are able to get their fans to support their other professions whereas Chris's fans immediately give up when Chris wants to try something else. These are actually doctors and nurses who are smiling to show Chris that everything is going to be okay and that his drug addition and mental traumas will be solved in about 20 years. The fat doctor is of course hallucinated to be Asalieri. Heck its possible that Chris has never really left the drug rehab clinic to begin with. Notice that he never goes outside and whenever he does, there's sprite hallucinations. Perhaps the ending is the doctors releasing a delusional and insane Chris onto the world, culminating in the sudden increase in skylanders content.

    1. "And Nintendo releases a Gamecube adapter for the Wii U, and it is compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U."

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Nintendo did this. Considering how several [hardcore] gamers prefer to use the Gamecube controller to play Brawl and/or Project M, it would make sense for Nintendo to release a Gamecube adapter for the Wii U and make it compatible with the next Super Smash Bros. title.
On the other hand (while I don't mean to sound rude), the people that initially complained about how the Wii U would not be compatible with Gamecube controllers and games need to stop and think for a minute. The Gamecube has been around for over a decade. While the Gamecube does have a nice controller and it is easy to use in Brawl (even though I personally prefer to use the Wii Remote + Nunchuk combination), there is no way that it will be around forever.
People will need to accept this sooner or later (hopefully the former rather than the latter).

    2. I to prefer the Wiimote+Nunchuk combo as well, but then again. Controllers(like music) are subjective. Some people prefer to play games with gamecube controllers over Wiimote, and vise versa. Plus we can expect more gamecube ports in the future.

    3. Mine are very worn in from Melee, so Remote and Nunchuk are my go to combo for playing with an analog stick. Depends on what I feel like at the time. Also, it seems the IR figures have been confirmed. I imagine with this development; if he does review the game, it could be Boring Brawl combined with all these endless Skylanders videos; with the key difference that I actually care about the characters Nintendo created and will enjoy seeing Chris shamble through them and continue his typical brand of Monster Party-like fuckery now that his storyline is over.

Not that I actually believe he is, seeing that E3 is just around the corner and knowing that he'll probably be there, I'd have to guess this project will get pushed off to the side and forgotten about again.

  19. Bores is showing all the myopia of EA or Activision with his saturation of Skylanders shit, only focusing on short-term monetary gains and not concerned about the negative effects of pissing his audience off. EA keep doing it by forcing games out before they're ready and with insulting day one DLC, Activision did it by killing successful or promising series in order to make more fucking Call of Duty games. I could probably make an Assassin's Creed comparison as well, but since Bores 'blew up' Ubisoft HQ I won't bother.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Really, Bores? I think the main reason why your stupid Skylanders videos get more views than your other videos is because no one is sticking around to watch your other videos now. You've driven off most of your viewers by neglecting anything other than Skylanders, and the ones that remain are only there FOR Skylanders and don't want to watch your other videos. It's your own fault that no one wants to watch your other stuff, and it'll be sooner than later that the Skylanders well runs dry.

  21. Got Mario Kart 8, fuckin awesome game! My only complaint is that they use fuckin THREE 3DS retro courses, like c'mon with this, that game came out like 2 years ago FFS. Also the N64 Rainbow Road was too short, that's my favorite stage. Still outstanding game none the less.

  26. Hey guys, I'm actually trying to go myself into pc gaming. And I wondered. Can you recommend some good games for me? Also, I have bought some games (or thinking about buying some games) and I wonder:

If I played Baldur's gate again, should I go with the first game or the second game?

I was pondering if I should buy Giants: Citizen Kabuto and Sacrifice. I remembered both those game from childhood and, while I hold a physical copy of the first game, I never played Sacrifice exept as a demo.

    3. I have a Windows 7 btw.

    Replies
    1. Before we can recommend games, what's your favorite genre and what kinds of games are you in the mood for?

As for the Baldur's gate question, well that depends; if you like more linear progression baldur's gate 1 is good. If you hate opening dungeons, definitely go for baldur's gate 1. If you like open maps and exploration then baldur's gate 2 is good... just don't use disintegrate on the big bad guy (it will work and the game will not progress).

Giants: Citizen Kabuto is a shooter and its rather fun but its compatibility is kinda shit. Sacrifice has great compatibility with modern systems but just remember that its a squad based RTS and not shooter... its also arm smashingly hard (get used to wars of attrition, smashing the enemy army to steal one or two souls and then preparing for their offensive yet again until their soul counts are more or less on par with yours).

    2. I'm a bit new myself, but I highly recommend games like Fallout, Ultima IV, and I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream.

I like Fallout and Ultima IV because they give you unbridled freedom, even more so than today's RPGs. While it does lead to confusion on where to go, it's nice to have a game give you the opportunity to do whatever you want. Granted, the main RPGs I play are from Final Fantasy, so you might be more used to games like Fallout, but you may have issues with Ultima IV, given how obtuse it can be at times.

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is a point-and-click adventure game and it is FREAKY! It's about 5 individuals who have suffered 109 consecutive years of pain at the hands of a supercomputer who keeps them alive just to continue its unrelenting torture. The game never shies away from gruesome material and gets downright terrifying at times. However, if you're going to play it, you may want a walkthrough on hand, since barely anything the game expects you to do is clear and concise. Even so, it's terrific.

Outside of that, you could get classic shooters like Doom and Duke Nukem 3D. I like them in particular because they are a lot more fun than today's shooters (I would like to write a blog post about it in the future if I get around to it; I'm kinda lazy like that), and you don't have to use the mouse to play them, which I like. HOWEVER, do NOT get Quake on Steam. For some reason, it does not have music. It may not sound like much, but without the music it just makes the game an utter bore.

Also, keep in mind I'm fairly new to PC gaming as well. That's why I stick to GOG since I have Windows 8 and nothing but GOG works on Windows 8. In fact, because I downloaded Doom on Steam and later upgraded to Windows 8, it stopped working until I downloaded a source port (I'm not entirely sure what it is, but it makes Doom work). Take my word for what it's worth.

Hmm. I was aware that Nine Inch Nails produced the music. I assumed that either they no longer owned the rights or just did a lazy porting job. I'll try putting an audio CD later, see if that works.

    6. "HOWEVER, do NOT get Quake on Steam. For some reason, it does not have music."

I think I know the reason. Most games of the time used MIDI. Quake used the audio portion of the CD it came on, there were 10 Nine Inch Nails tracks.
To test this, try putting an audio CD in your optical drive while playing. If that works, you can download and burn an audio CD with the original Quake music.
You might need to start on track two, if I remember correctly the original CD used track one for the game data.

I tried it out. You have to put in the disc BEFORE starting it up. Then you'll hear music coming out of the disc over the game. I gotta say, playing Quake with Lee Van Cleef by Primus blaring out the speakers was downright hilarious.

      Delete
    8. I think I spoke a little too soon; once the song ends, Quake reverts back to silence. Considering the average video game song isn't that long, I'm not sure how much help getting the soundtrack will be.

"I made it on to the Coast to Coast Am radio show last night's Q&A session while driving home. I told the guest that my evidence on ghosts disproves his evidence on ghosts. Of course I got muted and hung up on when trying to add a follow up story to back up my claims. haha"

    Too funny

    1. Wow. Talk about seeping with arrogance. Now granted anything on coast to coast should be taken with a very large grain of thought, the very notion that his "evidence" disproves people that spent their entire lives studying and researching something they actually have a true passion and interest in is possibly the most vomit inducing level of arrogance I've seen this side of heaven. Chris Bores, your "evidence" is a series of flashing lights you easily could have faked! My old team could have gotten something twice as significant on a bad day! Stop overhyping something and acting like its revolutionary. Your attitude is also a good way of making a douche of yourself in the paranormal community. You go to these small town "haunted" sights and jerk around for a hour or so and call it an investigation? Want to make an impression and gain some respect? Stop playing pretend ghost hunter and trying to mill your audience and go to the waverly hills sanatorium and do a REAL investigation! You wouldn't last a night there! You'd piss your ants and have to go home! Again. Stop acting like your hot stuff. You're also in this field for all the wrong reasons. Fitting evidence into your Buddhist beliefs and trying to make money. When I see haunted investigators you know what immediately comes to mind? ghost hunters scene from South Park. Enough said.

  31. I found Chris Bores call on coast to coast AM. I'm picking up on this guys natural inclination to over inflate things and try to make then sound more interesting then they are. He didn't in any way disprove anything. For those who haven't heard the call in. The topic was the idea that a Haunting could be caused by human interaction say if you pretend a place is haunted for long enough it could become actually haunted. A pretty interesting concept. The guy who was the guest host was a co director (I think?) for Fact or Faked. Look it up on netflix. They're pretty good about having a skeptical mindset. So Bores calls in and explains he's been doing research for a project and names his website and ask if it could be that the ghost are just wandering the area and take on the personality of the fake ghost to get attention. He wasn't "hung up on" for disproving someone. The host answered his question and moved on to the next call. What did he expect an hour long interview? Chris. Here's how those call in Shows work. You call in, ask a question, they answer it, hang up on you and say goodbye. The call was very disappointing. Just an excuse for him to very shamelessly plug his movie (pursuit of the paranormal) on national radio. Nice try Chris.

    1. From what happens it sounds to me like he's annoyed that he wasn't allowed to basically take over the show and ramble on as much as he wanted to rather then have the guest answer his question and then move on to the next caller. Typical center of the universe syndrome.

      Delete
    2. Thank you for making the video.

He claims on Facebook that he called them out to disprove their evidence and they hung up on him. The reality is that he asked a question while advertising his site. Really, this sounded more like an ad than trying to disprove someone.

      Delusion is unhealthy...

    3. Chris has severe competition issues. He seems to think that anyone in the same genre as him counts as competition and that he needs to prove himself better than them. This backfires because not only are the people not in the same competition as him, they're not even in the same bracket!

    4. Chris lying about things again? Stop the presses. Seriously though, thanks for making this video and catching him red-handed AGAIN. Man, this guy...

    6. Oh, wow. Look at the writeup Chris gave himself on his paranormal site. It is barrf-worthy:

Chris Bores is one of the leading Ghost Communicators in the field of Ghost Hunting. He once obtained a 90 minute conversation with a spirit, and has continued to push the envelope of spiritual communications ever since.
Along with Alan Cicco, they continuously uncover deep secrets about the afterlife that blow the lid off the paranormal realm. With their new skill sets in the field, undocumented evidence keeps revealing itself that no other ghost hunting show on television has ever documented!
