The Tinfoil Gets Tighter

No, still nothing on "Chris Neo" (yet). However, he did post something on Facebook that needs to be seen.

For those that can't read it, here's the text. Complete with typos.

"If you've been wondering why my paranormal website has been offline for so long, well we've been sifting through the code and I just found out it was hacked. The timing of this event seemed to have occured after I called out the celebs in the paranormal field for suppressing my new methods. So this is how it is eh? One has to have alot of insecurities if you feel you need to try and silence my work this way. A big special thanks to the fans that keep tweeting and tagging these paranormal celebs of my existence and pushing my work on them. I've met them all and gauged their reactions to me and my research and I can tell it annoys them to no end that I broke down their entire western ghost hunting approach through a pyschological mindset and pasted it back together in a way that they cannot duplicate so easily. And you'll be happy to know, I've made a huge breakthrough this summer with investigating that I haven't even made public. Very exciting stuff that I even can't talk about yet since I'm still breaking down all the nuiances. Thank you for your continued support."

Oh... wow. Fucking wow.

Turns out he didn't let his domain just lapse, no it was HACKED! Right after he called out the "eeeevil" celebs! This can't be real.
How about naming these celebrities Chris? Are you afraid or are you just full of shit? You do this all the time, like those "hundreds of YouTubers" from 2006/07 you watched as inspiration instead of the AVGN. It's always a lot of people but nobody in particular. That Alex Jones influence is really showing itself. "It's never my fault, it's always the fault of someone else."

You say you met these people and they were annoyed with you? How did you know that? Could you tell from their expression, tone or demeanor? Perhaps they were annoyed with something else. Like how this shitheel from Ohio is coming in with these long debunked methods and is trying to pass them off as new. They probably even told you that but you didn't listen because you can't take criticism.
"Cannot duplicate easily"? What's so hard? Learning to ask if being dead is different from being alive? Learning which beeps on your overpriced devices are different? You don't do anything revolutionary or different!

How did you know it was hacked? Was there something specific that warned you? You gave no indication of being a computer or code expert. This is sounding more and more like an excuse for being lazy and forgetting to pay the domain name. I like to think that if someone hacked you, they wouldn't just take it down. They'd replace the page with like Illuminati shit, though your tinfoil wearing ass would probably think it was legit considering your hilarious meltdown over Nickelodeon.

What "experts" are your "fans" tweeting at? Give us names!

So you say you made a huge breakthrough this summer. Really?: You sure it wasn't filled with making stupid videos about toys? Videos like his latest "PENNYWISE IT Movie FUNKO CEREAL UNBOXING! NECA Exclusive Mini Pop Action Figure SERIES 2"
... Oh my god are you serious? Oh yeah, that lovable kids movie It. Featuring such child-friendly scenes like an opening with a 7 year old getting his arm torn off. Seriously what is it with Funko making these joke cereals on violent properties? At least with Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street they haven't had movies in years.

Continued support huh? You have over 3000 Facebook friends, and yet as of this post, only 4 of them commented. Makes me wonder how many are just inactive accounts, I know I gave up Facebook.

So what's your favorite brand of foil Chris? The old classic Reynolds, the cheaper Walmart, or maybe something local?

That said, Nintendo cannot possibly stop everyone from sharing ROMs over the internet.

    3. As long as Nintendo continues to ignore their legacy and not make their games more readily available (seriously, we still don't have VC on Switch), I'm not gonna shed any tears if Nintendo loses a few pennies from someone downloading a ROM... especially if the game in question ISN'T available today without spending ridiculous amounts of money on a used copy that Nintendo wouldn't be making anything off of anyway.

  11. Chris' latest Facebook rant is about the new South Park teaser. He says the show has aligned itself with the establishment. I haven't watched the show in years so I don't know if that is true but he managed to get 40 comments in a short amount of time agreeing with him.

    1. What's weird is that I don't even know what he's talking about. There's no new South Park teaser. I've checked Google, I've checked their Twitter. The show returns September 26th, and since they make episodes within a week of premiere, then I doubt they had a teaser set-up. Perhaps Chris fell for a fake? I searched "South Park Season 22" and found fake videos. One using footage from Season 20.

    1. I'd say Tommy, but I also award Tommy more effort points for sincerely attempting more ambitious roles. With Bores' acting you only need to know he's mad, and you do. If Bores ever tries a scene where he argues with his fiancee, written with greater depth than a Family Guy cutaway gag, we may find out who really has the edge. Because I’m getting sick of the same old rants on how Teen Titans Go! is an awful show (I actually like that show, save for a few infamous episodes) and how it “ruined my childhood,” (seriously, it must be doing something right, because it’s Cartoon Network’s most popular show, despite not being a Cartoon Network Original) and the same old internet celebrity/Nintendo/children’s cartoon topics, here’s something different to add more variety. This trailer is for the new Titans series, and has gotten a big negative reaction. I would rather hear your opinions that instead.

    10. Speaking of cartoons and people who have absolutely nothing positive to say about Teen Titans Go!, I remember when people are saying that Butch Hartman’s Kickstarter for a family friendly channel was doomed right from the start, (and that was before it was revealed to be a means to convert children to Christianity) and how they were willing to give Mr. Enter’s Kickstarter a chance. I’m willing to bet that’s just because the former is a cartoon CREATOR, and the latter is a cartoon REVIEWER. However I honestly disagree that Mr. Enter Had much of a chance either, and Turkey was here to explain why he doesn’t think so either.

I liked Marc Summers better as the host, even though Liza Koshy is hot, but guess what? He's in the show too!

So maybe Nickelodeon does have a future...hopefully now after years of terrible shows after terrible shows, they'll start bringing in shows that made Nickelodeon great like Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts, All That, Alex Mack, Space Cases, Avatar The Last Airbender, etc. I did hear there was going to be a Rugrats revival even. I know we have the Rocko's Modern Life reboot as well.

    2. @MacDragard I don’t want to be Buzz Killington, all the shows you’re bashing may indeed be terrible, and this new Double Dare revival does sound nostalgic, but I can’t help but feel that Nickelodeon can’t just rely on what it aired on its earlier days. Yes, I too am against the idea of modernizing something timeless too much, and the inclusion of anything hip and trendy is bound to automatically get negative reception, at least online, but sometimes I think that they have to do something new, except it should be for more experimental purposes. I’m also of the opinion that you can at least make good jokes out of references to internet memes if you know what you’re doing. In one episode of The Fairly Odd Parents, Chloe’s parents say that they’re doing vines, like “all the cool kids.” The joke is that they’re swinging on actual jungle vines like Tarzan. Maybe on a different show, probably one for older audiences, the joke could’ve worked more, if not actually be funny, but I can’t help but feel that even on shows meant for children, people tend overreact on how bad it is and say that meme references shouldn’t be in a cartoon at all. That’s one thing I hate about the cartoon community; they beat the most reviled subjects to death in only less than three days. The overuse of words like “cringe” doesn’t help the case either.

I’m not saying that Nickelodeon should experiment with memes more often. I agree that something like Breadwinners is like the 2010s equivalent of Yo Yogi!, but what I’m saying is that they can’t just rely on their old shows to carry them forever. Also, I have a feeling that not every revival of those shows is going work.

However, I am interested in their new Nick Arcade Reboot.

    3. Wholeheartedly agree. I think that's what I meant to say really - that they create a brand new show that's original, creative and witty like the shows I mentioned. I'd much rather have that than reboots. I mean Nickelodeon was at one time the front-runner of making exciting and creative game shows for kids, so why can't they create something brand new? I'm sure it will at least be way better than the Wild 'n Crazy Kids reboot they did a while back.

    4. @MacDagard I saw that show on Nickelodeon GaS when I was a kid. I didn’t really care much for it and didn’t even realize it was a reboot until now.

  27. Chris has posted 4 Zombie Steve videos in the last 3 weeks. (Three of those are about Thomas the Tank Engine so I am wondering if he was sent a bunch of those toys).

38 Puppet Steve videos that are less than a month old. If only he had kept that pace for History of Video Games or Irate the 80's.

He has time to record Chris Neo videos if he wants to. He simply chooses otherwise. I can understand that Puppet Steve is his priority but why Zombie Steve over a Chris Neo video?

    1. The "writing" is vastly easier on a toy review (the way he does it) than a more documentary video where you're at least supposed to know things. Just say "hey, kids," point out all the obvious things at the visual level, then say "Well, there it is- [NAME OF PRODUCT WITH A WORD MISPLACED OR MISPRONOUNCED]"

      Delete
    2. I do a lot of writing and yes, quality writing can take time but what plagued Chris with HoVG and Irate the 80's were bad comedy and too many pointless special effects.

Comedy is very hard to write and in my opinion you need a team of writers for good comedy. When you write comedy alone you typically end up with a lot of stuff that seemed funny in your head but doesn't work at all. If Chris had spent less time with "Call 911 I was ROBbed" jokes, printing up Masturbation Hand cards and dressing like Skeletor and focused on solid scripts then things could have been different for his shows.

There's no saving this franchise from ridicule, even if the movie is decent. The problem is the original trilogy set the bar so high that any new SW movie that's not as good as Empire Strikes Back automatically sucks. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Empire Strikes Back got bashed to death if it was made nowadays.

  35. I watched the Transformers video that was posted on the Puppet Steve channel last week. I am not going to be too brutal because he got their names right for the most part and actually played with them a little. The usual complaints about Chris' voice and acting ability aside, what hurt was hearing Grimlock sound like Zombie Steve. He mentions Slug by the correct name but later refers to him as "Slag". I get it, that was the character's G1 name and Hasbro lost the trademark. His name is now "Slug" and Chris is having difficulty with that.

Chris says Jazz looks just like his old self - despite the fact that his door panel "wings" are gone and this Jazz does not transform into a Porsche.

Chris claims Starscream is one of his favorite characters of all time.

Main issue is that Chris has G1 on the mind and seems to be unaware that Power of the Primes (the line these figures belong to) is the current show.

There’s plenty of good-looking guys who are terrible with women and plenty of ugly guys that all the women hang around.

I honestly don’t understand why Rich garners so much hate. I actually enjoy his videos. I get the whole Big Cheese thing and several accusations of scams, but come on. I’m sure this happens to ALL big YouTubers. Maybe it’s just not as public.

There’s tons of people who just blog and vlog. Rich is one of them, and he gets massive hate and is trolled a lot about shit that happened months, if not years ago.

I’m not going all “OMG Rich is so awesome and is the best!” There’s several other tech channels that I also enjoy. Again, I’m sure there’s other people out there guilty of behind the scenes shady shit, like AlphaOmegaSin, StonefoxMedia, and Machinima, but no one gets as much hate as Rich does.

I appreciate you not wanting to support him, and standing by your opinions, but I’d rather support a bad Youtuber by watching a video for free, rather than a greedy Triple A game company like EA and 2K by paying them for microtransactions.

      Delete
    3. I have my reasons for thinking Rich is a sleazebag but that should not bother you. I would say there are YouTubers who get far more hate than Rich does whether they deserve it or not.

At the end of the day, YouTube is big enough for all of us to watch whoever we want and it should not bother anyone else who we watch or choose not to watch.

I simply choose not to give a greedy YouTuber any support at all while simultaneously not paying EA or 2K for microtransactions.

To all my paranormal fans and friends, I know I've been pretty withdrawn from the paranormal front lately. There's a reason for that. Family is one, but something also clicked for me over the summer about getting a spirit to manifest which I know is the holy grail of ghost hunting. I'm still working out all the kinks but the results have been mindblowing. It's gotten to the point where I think I'm going to have to call it the Bores Manifestation Principle or something. So many moving parts to this and so many "Duh" moments. Hopefully I can expand on this in the near future. But if you enjoyed my last lecture, you're going to love what I have in store.
