He's back... again.

Just dropped on YouTube. We're doing this dance again.
To celebrate the 13th anniversary of the Irate Gamer channel, he's bringing the character back. To review Ghostbusters on NES. Because that hasn't been talked about a million times already.

I have to wonder how much care Chris put into the video since the preview spells "nostalgia" wrong.

Uploading here in case he tries to delete it.
Also he paid Ernie Hudson to record a cameo on his phone. Meh...

I guess Chris finally realized what his fans want. They don't want boring Chris Neo, lame podcasts, or fucking "Ghost Behaviorist" garbage, they want this crap.
And yet, I still feel this will be very boring. Maybe not Chris Neo boring, but probably Season 5 boring.
Wait... he's reviewing Ghostbusters, and my informant told me he updated his Toledo Hunters fan page to include this new picture.

Is this is going to be a way to promote his stupid ghost material? You're hunting the wrong house Chris. The Irate Gamer fans give zero fucks about ghost hunting. What's left of them anyway...

I expect this video to go up soon. Last time he put up an "Irate Gamer is back" preview, the full video came out the next day or so.

  1. I wonder if Ernie Hudson is gonna get shit for this, poor guy probably has no idea who Chris is.

  2. I'm kind of surprised Bores hasn't posted any bizarre COVID-19 conspiracies given he has a propensity for that stuff.

    1. Oh yeah he's going to say it's ghosts not a virus

  3. I'm taking partial credit for Chris reviving IG because not only that my video overtakes Chris's content when you search "irate gamer" but several other YouTubers have talked about him in the past year and I think Chris wants to piggyback off the success of my video and those other ones.

    1. Meh, you probably spammed the link everywhere. Being relevant means nothing on YT, seen plenty of crap vids with high view count and good ones with low view count.

YT is YT, AKA complete garbage no matter the quality of the video. It's like IMDB, can't trust that either.

  4. Updated VideoPad. Surely he knows that "someone else" reviewed Ghostbusters.

  5. I still remember that "Irate Gamer Returns this Summer. Stay Tuned" claim from his Facebook post last year. It seems Boredom One only brought back IG because he ran out of options.

  6. Unsurprisingly, he deleted a lot of videos, mostly GeekTime.

  7. Gentlemen and ladies, it is an honor to once again re-assemble with you all:

Not only "Nostalga" but "Alittle" in the following caption.

How many comebacks is this, and what does it say that we, who make a practice of chronicling this stuff, have to ask?

And, though it may be obvious: "Doodle-oo-doo-doo-doo... GHOST BEHAVIORISTS!!!"

  8. I wonder if Chris is going to make fun of the "CONGLATURATION!" end screen, too.

  10. Update From Bores:
Okay so by now, you've seen the announcement of the new Irate Gamer video coming. I wanted to address a few things people keep asking me about. I have no idea when this will post. Time has always been a major issue. I just wrapped production a couple days ago and I was trying my best to post the trailer on the anniversary of the channel for the fun "13" tie in. I have yet to edit really anything so it may be awhile until its finally posted. I was looking at the raw footage and this might be the longest episode I've ever done so factor that in too. Also I'm not sure if this will be a regular thing. Since I hardly post on this channel anymore, I'm not favored by the YouTube algorithm anymore so I make absolutely no money on these videos. This is purely a fun side project for the fans still watching. I had some extra time so I thought it would be fun to finally get to a game that's stuck in my crawl for 20 years - all which will be explained in the video. But I can't wait to post. It seemed really funny on paper and kind of inhibits the classic season 1 swearing irate gamer.

    1. Oh, boy, his longest episode ever! (What's the record?)

Also, what word do you think he meant to use instead of "inhibits?"

    2. I think the longest was Monster Party at 12:33. Though considering how Chris can't remember basic facts about his show (like how he claimed Sewer Shark was his first Sega CD review when he reviewed MMPR), he could likely be mistaken.

He probably means "inhabits"? "It inhabits the classic season 1" That's my guess.
Above that, he says "stuck in my crawl", when the phrase is "stuck in my craw". Though considering his weird speech quirk with "-aw" words...

"The algorithm hates me" Then open a Patreon already! Almost everyone does it. His boomer energy amazes me.

    3. Yes the longest till today is Monster Party. I think we have to wait about another 2 weeks till the Episode is getting released and I think after that thats it again for Irate Gamer till the 14th Anniversary.

  12. I wanna see him revive History of Video Games, only (and I mean ONLY) to see if he repeats the common myth that Pac-Man came from a missing slice of pizza. Since all he cares about is food.

Been ages since I last posted here.

  13. You know! It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Chris is an avid watcher of Ben Shapiro. He's for people who think Alex Jones isn't disrespectful enough.

  14. I'm filing this under "I'll believe it when I see it." He was supposed to revive Irate Gamer last summer and it never happened.

    1. This time around could be different because Chris did put at least some effort to make an announcement and he managed to get Ernie Hudson. Though I think Ernie Hudson was the only surviving cast member willing to work with Chris.

  15. Yeah, I received this 4-day old at the time video in my recommended feed! No way I'll give him the satisfaction of views!

Off-topic, though: Anyone excited for Streets of Rage 4?

  16. I will never understand why he buried the one thing that did ok for him.

  17. I think he was trying to run away from The Irate Gamer and find new things to get his e-fame (Skylanders, Puppet Steve, Ghost Behaviorist) but those made The Irate Gamer look like an original masterpiece in comparison, so he's crawling back to the one thing he thinks can still make him money.
