Did he even play the same game? Brawl had MORE duplicate characters then before! He noted the only “duplicates” were Dr. Mario, Young Link, and Pichu. No mention of Ganondorf, Falco, or Roy? Besides, Young Link is now Toon Link, Fox = Falco = Wolf, Ness = Lucas, Ganondorf has barely changed from the last game, and Ike isn’t a clone at all."

I don't know why I'm making this post but Wolf is NOT a clone of Fox/Falco. Every single one of his normal moves are different. The only things that you can say are cloney about Wolf are his final smash and speical moves having the theme of projectile, side dash move, aimable up B, and projectile reflector. Same goes for Lucas.

Melee's clones were
Fox - Falco
Marth - Roy
Pikachu - Pichu
Link - Young Link
Falco - Ganondorf
Mario - Dr. Mario

Brawl's clones are
Falcon - Ganondorf
..............That's it. Seriously. Falco got 5 different normal attacks in Brawl. The same applies to Toon Link if I remember correctly. If we're going to consider that grounds for being a clone then Luigi is a clone as well.

So no, Chris is right here. I have no idea why you would suddenly write something so abrasive after a relatively straightforward rebuttal.

Also, the point was that Chris Bores referred to them as "other Nintendo legends". And there were piles upon piles of Gamecube controllers. Yes, the Gamecube controller pretty much was the true controller for Brawl.

I have to admit, Subspace Emissary may be heavily flawed gameplay wise, but the cutscenes do bring a smile to my face. They don't really come off like bad fanfiction, kinda more like the silent interactions in the Mario and Luigi games. And there are some cutscenes that are just great, particularly, Lucario vs Box. Who would have thought a Pokemon could humiliate the entire armed forces of the Metal Gear universe?

But Target Smash was indeed nerfed horribly. As for Bores......His knowledge is from Captain N. I hate that show enough already (If done properly, it could have been made of pure awesome). And yes Bores, we know about basic details. Even though I do enjoy the single-player experience it is very flawed, but there is hardly any comment on that either (and yes, I found the SSE's storyline almost incomprehensible).

Also the writing is inept, the research is wrong and it's less of a review and more like a blog post. ...You know something...
The video is so horrible...
I'd rather accept the fact that 9-volt is not playable in Brawl. I'd rather accept that Fox, Wolf, and Falco have the exact same final smash. I's rather accept that there are not as many assist trophies as usable Pokemon in SSBB.
And you know what?

I'd rather simply play Brawl than deal with that biased shit parade of a video. No, I am not making a doing a spin on AVGN,s "I would rather..." phrase. I just want to say that he didn't make this video for the fans. Not at all. He knew that Brawl would've been the most anticipated game for the Wii. Was he looking forward to playing it? Yes. Is that because of his nostalgia? NO! This is because Brawl was going to be the biggest game on the Nintendo Wii, and he somehow had it in his head that:

SSBB review = millions of views!!!1!1 o:

And that is why he "reviewed" Brawl.
To pander to retarded fanboys who do not even know what an opinion is.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432771188531629231.post-68137469930432184272009-10-14T16:39:49.312-05:002009-10-14T16:39:49.312-05:00Hey, I love your blogs. Also, he states that he was too young to read the gritty adult comics, but the guy is 32.... so, that's not true.

The thing that bugged me the most is that he said the stories stopped following a larger storyline and was soon cancelled before reaching issue 30, the truth being, that the same writers wrote the comics from 1988-1996 and the comics had over 70 issues.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
