It's been a couple weeks since a new Irate Gamer hasn't it?
Chris did say on Facebook that he's been having some health problems. Okay, fair enough. Health takes priority over all. But I find it weird that a few hours later, he crowed about how great the upcoming episode of Ghost Doctor will be.
He even posted a new one where he claims to talk to the Wright brothers (pfffft). There's also several Puppet Steve videos (still no Smash Bros though).
But that's not what I want to talk about. Oh no no no no. As this hellscape of a year closes, Conspiracy Chris pops his head out once again.
In case you've somehow avoided all news the past several months (and if you have, tell me how), the United States had their Presidential election. After a tense few days, Joe Biden has been projected to be the winner and coming January 20th, 2021, will serve as the new President. The supporters of Donald Trump were furious, calling the election rigged, full of fraud, claiming the media is lying, and finding all kinds of excuses to claim Trump was really the winner after all. It's a salty snowflake parade!
If you aren't aware, Chris is a Trump supporter, and totally into conspiracy theories. Garbage ones of course. But that's fairly commen for people that support him. They'll believe all kinds of retarded crap.
All this talk of the "media lying" likely inspired him to post this.
Oooh wow. Basically, Chris had these big secret meetings 8-9 years ago that expose all the seedy underbelly of YouTube and the Gaming community. It's dire shit people! Oh, but Chris can't tell you what he heard. No sir, not at all.

What do you think will happen? Truth is, you're a nobody. Whatever it is, I doubt it's that bad. Especially if it's from 8 years ago. YouTube has changed DRASTICALLY since then. Clearly whatever horrors you claim to have seen, probably no longer matter.
Chances are, you don't actually know anything. You just want attention don't you? Considering this post got way more comments and reactions than he normally gets, it worked a little.

Okay, so I looked into this a little. Using incognito mode of course. Earlier in the year, someone accused Tom Hanks of becoming a Greek citizen because in Greece, they consider pedophilia a disability. Let's unpack that.
While Hanks did indeed become a Greek citizen, it was not for that reason. There is no credible evidence that Tom Hanks is a pedophile. This "connection" was made because in 2012, Greece considered adding pedophilia along with other behavioral disorders like compulsive gambling, voyeurism, and pyromania to their list of disabilities. There was a massive backlash in the country, and the plan fell through. So as of 2020, it's no longer on the list. I read up on this from USA Today.
Looking a little further, these accusations of Hanks being a pedo go back to at least 2018. All stemming from .... *sighs* QAnon. Of course Chris believes that fucking garbage. QAnon is like a magnet for drooling dipshits.
All stemming from the cries of "Hollywood is full of pedophiles". While there is possibly a tiny morsel of truth in there, it's likely not as bad as these nutcases claim.
Chris, I'm going to say this as nicely as possible. You need to get off Facebook. It is not healthy. You need to expand your library of information. Having it tailored to you does far more harm than good. I got off Facebook years ago and I feel so much better for it.

His videos are what they are, and i disagree with commenting on everything he does, taking things personally and worrying about his believes, and family, and making extreme judgements about him as a person. Also that his videos are what they are, and are not worth the level of anger people here can show towards them. I Dont find it healthy to hate that much.
Soo, I do think that some of my complaints are valid on this post. I dont like how much hatred there is for him being a " trump supporter". I am not American, and not getting into my own views too much, but yeah, I can't stand Donald Trump basically. But, ive always held the viewpoint that no matter what anyone believes, if there is some good in them, I can still get on with people. I dunno anything about Chris' political views, but there are people I watch who are american and do support trump, and they have their own reasons for it, and dont want to oppress or hold down any other people, and would never force their views on anyone. Do I think theyre misinformed? personally.. yeah, but again, there are people who would discuss their views, and not fall out with you over it. Im friends with people who have different view points to me on many serious issues.
Another problem is that chris has never seemd to ever address his political views in any video or anything public as far as ive seen, so again you have my problem of taking things too personally, to find that information out, youd have rather had to look into his personal life I guess. Which again is just taking it way too far, for a random guy on the internet who makes silly videos.
All that being said... look, I dont care if chris wants to make ghost videos or whatever, i dont beleive in it, but all the power to him if thats his believes, and people interested can share it. The conspiracy stuff... I think theres a bit of a problem with him buying into. I want people to be treated faily, and like people here posting about him abusing women, and other supposedly horrendous things hes done, and not really having evidence, i do take issue with his claims about Tom Hanks. There is zero evidence of this, and for him to buy into it so easily, and spread horrendous stuff around that could seriously ruins a mans life, that is dangerous. He didnt used to read this blog , but he has read a few things recently, so if he reads this, place make sure that if you are going to post any accusations about people, you are 100% certain its true, and have evidence to back up your claims, because false accusations can be so so damaging, and make it so much harder for people who have actually done wrong to face consequences for their actions.

DeleteOh yeah, and Chris claimed these secret meetings happened in 2011 and 2012? What was going on back then? Chris was doing his story arc season that lasted nearly 4 years. I believe this was the time when Chris became obsessed with Skylanders (the prototype for the Puppet Steve show) and James Rolfe was involved in two "scandals" which in hindsight were no big deal: fundraising for his movie and Cheetahmen 2 campaign (which James merely promoted).

OT: So... um... have you noticed how that awful "found footage" movie Megan is Missing, which came out in 2011, is starting to go viral again thanks to TikTok users? I knew of this movie's existence from reviewers such as YourMovieSucks and the late Hellsing920, and both paint the movie (which had a decent concept of awareness, at least) in a VERY negative light.

ReplyDeleteI hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving Day today. I just want to say how thankful I am to have a fanbase as cool as you guys. I know everyone has been waiting for the next episode and I unfortunately had to pull back a little recently. firstly, this is my busiest time of the year with work so I have next to no free time right now for IG videos. Secondly, I didn't want to say anything beforehand but I had a cancer scare recently and we just got the results back which came back negative so I thank God for that. I've also been taking time to catch up on some dentist appointments and such too so I'll have a clean slate come 2021.
I also want to give a huge thanks to the guys helping me churn out episodes. You'll be happy to know there are like 5-6 episodes in various stages of production right now and these guys are amazing as they keep turning in work faster than I can put my stamp of approval on them! So those will be coming out soon (I hope!). Thank you to all my fans, I feel very blessed and honored to have so much support from you.
My thoughts go out to Chris and hope he gets better. Cancer is horrible and thankfully he doesn’t have it.

DeleteThe whole point of the marathon he's doing right now is unpopular opinions. When Chris reviewed games that people liked years, it wasn't part of a marathon. It was because he was a clueless idiot trying to profit off the "angry gamer review" trend at the time and it was clear he had no fucking idea what he was doing. Why he chose those games? Who the fuck knows. It's obvious by this point that Chris knows absolutely nothing about video games so it's pretty debatable what he actually thinks of those games. Say what you want about Mr Enter (I personally like his content), he at least has a genuine opinion on what he reviews and he's just trying to explain why he has that opinion, as he has a clear passion for animation. Chris is a total phony who doesn't have a real opinion about games and was just throwing things together to nitpick about (something he's ADMITTED about at one point) because he's not a gamer and doesn't know how to review a game. Other than "bashing things people like," I don't see how Mr Enter and Irate Gamer are anything alike.
DeleteMr Enter definitely has flaws, but the're nothing like Irate Gamer flaws. As PM said, he doesn't rely on lame Family Guy humor or special effects. Not to mention he at least acknowledges mistakes (like he did in his Your Name review, where he bashed one of his infamous past reviews), unlike Chris, who tries to pretend his videos are perfect and thinks that his flaws are "putting his videos under a microscope."

DeleteI generally think for a YouTube channel to Qualify for The Rise and Fall series they have to have a less than 5 or 10 percent view to sub ratio. Mr Enter wouldn’t qualify as he still gets 100k views (I did Channel Awesome because their other videos don’t get anywhere close to Nostalgia Critic episodes).

He definitely deserves every bit of hate and backlash he gets. Honestly, Daddyofive might be my most hated YouTuber of all time. Filming yourself abusing your kids and profiting off doing so is the absolute lowest of the low.

DeleteOn the subject of Mr Enter's Unpopular Opinions marathon, it's becoming more clear that YouTube is the WORST place to talk about unpopular opinions. Even if you say "it's just my personal opinion", you will still be crucified for hating things people generally like (or vice versa). Joshscorcher and Phantomstrider also got a ton of hate for having unpopular opinions, even after they both stated "this is just my opinion, we all have different tastes." Joshscorcher even got his account HACKED and some of his videos deleted because some fanboys got butthurt about his opinion. You should be allowed to say your own opinions on YouTube, but you're risking losing views/subscribers, receiving a ton of hate, or butthurt fanboys doing asinine things because of saying something the general opinion doesn't like. All I can say is, if you want to state an unpopular opinion, be prepared for the backlash. Because it's inevitable.

DeleteAs for the episode it was really lazy and not an irate gamer episode at all - false marketing to lable it as such. Considering he played it for the first time as he hit record... that's the epitome of lazy.
I think it's been established by this point that Chris can't handle criticism. So I'm not surprised at all. Hoenstly, this comment feels pretty tame compared to some other things Chris has said to his critics.
