It has been quiet.

What do you mean it's August? Man, this year is going by rather quick.

I imagine you've all noticed that there hasn't been any updates. Simply put, there is nothing to talk about.
He has not released anything to the Irate Gamer channel since the Gremlins video.
The only thing over on the Ghost Doctor has been a video about "Demon Classification". Sorry, I already play Shin Megami Tensei, I have all the demon classification I need there.

But as you can see, nothing has come out of IG. Why the silence?
He's been dead quiet on Facebook. Weirdly enough, earlier in the Summer he said that he had tons of projects lined up and that "this will be a big year for Irate Gamer". And yet... nothing.
He also mentioned wanting someone to help him create an Arcade Cabinet. Nothing seems to have come from that.

My theory? He's discouraged. Back when he was working on the Gremlins video, he was boasting on Facebook about how hard he was working, and how proud he was of it. However, most of the comments were praising Zach Galligan's testimony about the game rather than Chris' "reviews". On top of that, the views for it were abysmal. Over two months later, and it has only achieved 26k views. In fact, his views in general have been terrible.

The only video that came out in 2021 that did decently was Godzilla vs Kong, and that's thanks to the algorithm and Search Engine Optimization. Basically, the right video at the right time. He did the same over on Puppet Steve, releasing a Godzilla vs Kong video the day the movie came out. It got him a lot of views. So he foolishly keeps doing Godzilla videos on that channel despite getting less and less views. He even posted one today where he gets things wrong (like claiming Space Godzilla is new).

So really, it kind of feels like Chris is giving up... again. The views aren't coming in, nobody cares about what he thinks, he's probably beyond discouraged. But who knows, he may surprise me by posting something the next day. I know he reads this.

UPDATE: As I was working on this, my informant sat through Chris' "demon classification" video. And hoo boy...
It is pretty nuts, but a lot of it feels like Chris' failed Dungeons & Dragons campaign. He lists a type of "demon" and then tries to use movies and shows made in the last decade to "prove his point". When all he does is sound like an ill-informed shallow idiot. He doesn't go into various mythologies or religious ideals, and tries to act like what happens in the movies happens in real life. He sounds like someone that can't distinguish between fiction and reality. At no point does he showcase his process in finding all this out. It sounds like he's just making it up.
I may actually have to do a deeper dive into it... Because it sounds beyond batshit. Sometime down the line.
