I woke up for the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate announcement hoping for something cool. I got a face full of Minecraft.
Steve is confirmed to be the next playable fighter. With alt costumes for Alex, Zombie, and Enderman.
Look, I know Minecraft is hugely popular, it's iconic at this point. Actual iconic not Bores' weird "it's from the 80's so it's automatically iconic" shit. Minecraft was just never for me, even before Bores poured his time into a low-quality toy channel where he pretends to be Steve.
Really the reason I'm bringing this up now is that Chris is going to be insufferable, more so than usual. Be prepared for that.
He's supposedly dropping a new video tomorrow. We shall see.
I never understood the appeal of Minecraft either as I found the game to be incredibly boring. Chris is probably gonna be pissed again at no Peter Pepper (aka the chef from Burgertime) or he’ll spam 9 puppet steve videos a day (classic DSP move).
ReplyDeleteI thought we didn't cover Puppet Steve on this blog though? I'm sure his stupid character will stroke his ego on that channel, but when would we speak about it here? Chris never talks about Puppet Steve or Minecraft on his main channel or on Facebook. Last I checked, he's still desperately trying to keep that a secret from everybody.
ReplyDeleteRobocop review. This was completely recycled from his review from over 10 years ago. Same jokes and everything! Yeah he does go into a little more detail but he's going in like the old review never even existed.
ReplyDeleteAnd with Peter Weller. Straight from Cameo.com of course.
DeleteAnd his “original” review was recycled from his collab with that swag guy
DeleteWow he literally recycled, stitching new bits in resulting in inconsistent clothing. He also said this video will feature his “crew” who is helping him. Is he taking about ROB and Tony?
DeleteNew IG video: Robocop with a cameo from Peter Weller.
ReplyDeleteI have noticed a pattern with Season 6. All of Season 6 is either games James Rolfe already reviewed or games Chris reviewed years ago also with a guest from Cameo.com.
ReplyDeleteDon’t forget redoing games he’s already done (tmnt, robocop, large chunks of that arcade ports failure ) plus irate the 80s/ 90s cereal
DeleteWatching the video, I have seen clips of the original review and it's NEVER MENTIONED EVEN ONCE!
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, it is mentioned in the description of the video. It was a lazy episode however...
DeleteI loved minecraft, it was a great creative outlet and got me interested in crafting as a game mechanic in both video games and board games . Minecraft Steve in smash bros? That's a curveball I don't think anyone saw coming.
ReplyDeleteKinda weird for Peter Weller to call out Chris as "Chris Irate" in the end. Just sayin.
ReplyDeleteThe seasonal banner topping his YouTube page just says "Irate Gamer" and "Halloween". No verb or, like, information or anything.
ReplyDeleteIf Chris ever decides to re create his infamous Aladdin review, Jonathan Freeman (Jafar) has a cameo.com account.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I was never interested in Minecraft either! I'm all for creativity, but I just didn't see it for me! I'll just be giving this DLC a skip (a first for Smash, actually)!
ReplyDelete-_-

DeleteOne time there was a singer from the 2000’s named Adam Levine that sang a song called She Will Be Loved but when Maroon 5’s third album didn’t do well, he gave up his integrity and now relies on studio hacks to keep him on the charts. This is what James Rolfe and Screenwave remind me of.
