A review of Pong? Are you kidding me?

So the Irate Hack released the second part of his Odyssey Failure, and at the end he says the next video will be Pong. Really... Pong. Tycho of Penny-Arcade will like to say a few words. This comic was made two years ago, and with Chris Bores (and alexa****44**) it will always be relevant. The rant on the second part will probably be done tomorrow. Seriously Pong?

    Wonder if it will take another 5 months to make the Pong review? I hope not. I actually look forward to Irate Gamer episodes as much as AVGN and Nostalgia Critic episodes because fun to watch how Bores horrible acting, humor, storylines, and gaming knowledge and then see this blog or wother Youtube videos tear it to shreads.

    There's only one version of Pong that's worth reviewing.
    "Pong: The Next Level" an obscure PS1 title released in 1999.
    It takes the simple concept and adds power-ups, additional game modes, and some great graphics for its time.
    Hell if I can get into video reviewing I'll talk about this game.

    I've seen the second part of this review and... well... forgive me for invoking a bit of Ebert quotes, but... it's the best way to sum up my feelings on this review, especially since no other IG episode has made me feel this way... so here goes.

    I hated this review!

    Hated, hated, hated, hated, hated, hated, hated, hated, hated, hated, HATED this review!

    Hated it!

    Hated every simpering, stupid, unfunny, inaccurate, vacant, sleep-inducing, audience-insulting moment of it!

    Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it!

    Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it!

    Hated the god-forsaken premise that this needed to be extended to fifteen minutes of drivel when it should have been two minutes followed by the next subject!

    Hated it! Hated it! HATED IT!

    Did I mention I hated it? Too bad; I'll mention it thrice more.

    Hated, hated, HATED this review!

    And for fuck's sake, man. PONG?! Why do we need to blow a whole fucking video on PONG?! It's fucking PONG!

    Okay, I'm going to bed now. Bye.

    There is only one good thing that can come from this.......
    At least it won't be out for another two or three months. If he released videos THIS BAD every two weeks, well...

    I'D RATHER HAVE PAC-MAN GOBBLE MY BALLS WHILE DONKEY KONG DOES A BARREL ROLL IN MY ASS(if you know what I mean) AND Q-BERT CATCHES MY SQUIRTING SPLOOGE IN HIS MOUTH AS I ORGASM AT THE GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE OF CUSTER'S REVENGE THAN WATCH THAT SHIT-LOAD OF FUCK ON YOUTUBE!!!

    And I didn't even watch that terrible "review" anyway. It's that bad.

    AVGN recently reviewed various Pong consoles. Another reason why Bores should stop slacking.

    The funny thing is, the IG fanboys tried to make out that AVGN had 'stolen' from Chris Bores by reviewing several pong consoles and talking more about the variations and the hardware than the games themselves. That's not even the pot calling the kettle black - that's like Samwell criticising Michael Buckley for being "too faggy".

    What I love is that AVGN never gives Bores the oxygen of publicity, even when asked. He'll just say "he never talks about me, so I don't talk about him", or if he can tell someone's far more upset about it than he is he'll just tell them to "ignore that asshole" with a smile on his face. He's being the bigger man about it. Armake21 and several others let the anger get the better of them and released venomous videos (which were mostly highly entertaining and accurate), which just gave the idiot trolls more material. James won't get drawn into it, and he deserves respect for that since he's the one who's been screwed over the most.
