Will There Be No Justice for Injustice? It's IG, What Do You Expect?

You know, after watching a 2 and a half hour video of DarkSydePhil painfully fumble his way through Metal Gear Solid 3, I realized something. This is exactly how Bores would do a blind Let’s Play. He’d blame the game for his own faults, he’d crack jokes non-stop, and he would act like a child. Good thing Bores hasn’t discovered Let’s Plays, otherwise we’d get a crap-ton of Minecraft videos, or whatever the big popular game is right now.

Anywho, new video. His first Neo video since January. Injustice: Gods Among Us. Huh, funny how we all predicted he’d do this one. I thought it wouldn’t be for another few months considering how long he takes. But he managed to get it out within a fortnight of release. Let’s see how much of the game he actually played.

0:06 - 0:15: IG begins the video claiming he got a lot of requests to review it. Uh huh, yeah I’m sure. It’s not like you’re predictable considering how often you gush about Mortal Kombat and that you’re a self-proclaimed DC fanboy, and this a DC fighting game from Netherrealm Studios, the people behind the latest MK. No no, it was the fans.
He holds up the box, then throws it. DON’T DO THAT! Stop treating your games like props! You never show respect to your games!

0:16 - 0:41: He starts up saying this new “brawling” game is from the creators of the MK reboot. Care to say the studio’s name?
He brings up that it has all our DC Comics characters, and some “not-so-favorites”. He has Raven on screen when he mentions this. What’s wrong with Raven? Do you not like the Teen Titans? Because I know a few people that will kick your ass with words.
Then he goes to characters that he doesn’t recognize. So you’re a “big comic book fan” and you claim there’s characters you can’t recognize. I’m looking at the roster and there’s no obscure characters. I don’t see crap like Brother Power of the Geek, Captain Carrot, or the rapist version of Doctor Light.
The footage is on Killer Frost, then it cuts to IG wondering who that is. Then… *sighs* Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons appears and tells him she’s a Firestorm villain. Ugh, was that needed? Yes yes, comic books but if Chris is claiming to be a big comic book fan going by his movie lists, then he should try to act the part. Not do a stupid bit with a Simpsons character.

By the way, I love how one of the only comments (GotGame) calls it a “Matt Groening cameo”. That’s funny, I always thought CBG was played by Hank Azaria.

0:42 - 1:33: Characters are awesome, they come out swinging, they do cool things…
“Once a character hits their limit break” Again Chris, this isn’t Final Fantasy. It’s called a special, or a super move. Not a “limit break”. Learn your fucking terminology.
He mentions that some specials like Harley Quinn’s (you’re saying it wrong) aren’t that cool, and that some specials like The Flash’s make you wonder why the others aren’t this cool. Because Harley doesn’t have any superpowers, and the Flash is the fastest man alive. She’s kind of limited to what she can do, she’s not going to reenact the finale to the JLU episode “Divided We Fall” and run around the world to deliver a megaton punch.
After showing The Flash doing that, IG yells “Shazam” and gets hit by lightning. As if he wasn’t enough of a Mary Sue, he now has the powers of Shazam, that’s great. Oh wait, it was a joke because he didn’t get up. ………….
“Who know Aquaman was so powerful?” Anyone that read the comics? He rules the oceans, commands every fish in the sea, including sharks! He has super strength and durability. This perception of Aquaman being crap is only enforced by shitty comedy writers (E.G. Family Guy and Robot Chicken).

1:34 - 2:20: IG moves on to the story. He found it enjoyable and he managed to power through within two days. Wait, he actually beat it?
He claims that’s “rare” because he likes to … play a little at a time and… savor it like a … fine…wine. BULL! SHIT! Savor like a fine wine, give me a damn break. There’s so many games you’ve played for IG Neo that you only played for one or two hours, and then decide” Yup, that’s good enough”. That’s not “savoring”, that’s being lazy! That almost sounded like a response to the critics calling him out for not beating every game he reviews. Hey moron, ever consider that you’re exempt from not beating shitty NES games because of bad design? You don’t have that luxury with modern games, even if the controls are busted you have endless checkpoints and places to save, games these days love to hold your damn hand.
See, this is why Bores will never do things like Let’s Plays or livestreams, he’s laaaazy! That and a livestream chat would be trolled soooo hard.

Oh wait, this was all setting up a joke. Of course it was… IG is in a suit, holding a glass of wine and some flower saying that they’re “very cultured”, and then he drops his flower and yells “shit!” Hypocritical humor, because he just said he was cultured…

He summarizes the story and that DC fans will love this game (as it cuts to IG reading a Green Lantern TPB and wearing a Batman shirt shouting “Wooo”) and… Marvel fans will be jealous that they don’t have this “epic game” (cutting to IG reading an X-Men TPB and looking angry). Why did you bring up the Marvel fans? There was no reason to bring up the Marvel fans.
I love how he isn’t even wearing a Marvel related t-shirt. Couldn’t fully to the bit, now that’s sad.

2:21 - 2:50: He mentions Easter Eggs, like Hal Jordan being a Yellow Lantern (not an Easter Egg, it’s plot related) and then mentions they got Kevin Conroy to voice Batman (this surprises you?) and George Newbern as Superman from the “iconic cartoon series”. Actually, Newbern was Superman in Justice League and JLU. Tim Daly was Superman in The Animated Series. But that little research probably took away from your busy job of………….

2:51 - 3:34: IG then moves onto the negatives. And he says he can’t find any. Figures… because actually being critical is for neeeeerds.
Oh but he has stupid nitpicks. He found Wonder Woman’s breasts distracting since they were trying to go for “realism”. At least Power Girl isn’t the game… and you played MK9 you should have expected buxom women.
He also didn’t like that all you get for beating story mode is a new costume for Superman. What were you expecting? It’s a fighting game, the rewards aren’t going to be that amazing. It’s not like an RPG with New Game Plus that allows you to take all your stats into a new game and allow you to punish everything that gave you trouble at the start.
Oh and another lame Comic Book Guy bit. Whatever…
He mentions that the game will have DLC so if you’re hoping for Booster Gold or Blue Beetle, you might get it. Then it cuts to IG dressed as the leader of the Booster Gold fan club, he’s wearing a wig and an Injustice shirt. Why not a Booster Gold shirt? Then it transitions to IG saying “God help us all” and putting his hand on his face. What’s that expression meant to be? He’s such a bad actor it’s hard to tell.
There’s a 1% chance he’s right though, the only DLC character we know of is Lobo. But we’ll see what happens.

The video ends with his usual final verdict. He liked it. … Weak. At least there was no lame joke.

This review was… eeeeeeeeeeeeh. Certainly not the worst, but by no means good. As usual, no mention of online or even the controls for that matter. Just the story mode and some other things that really don’t matter in the overall scheme of things. Plus the lame lame Comic Book Guy bits. At least the Fall of Cybertron review had a character from Transformers, even though he’s just leftover from a pointless bit in his regular show. Why was he there? Because comic books? That’s a flimsy excuse.
I’ll give him credit for not mentioning he played this at E3. I guess he does listen, despite his mother’s abrasive insults.

I'll also give him credit for not wondering where the fatalities are. Anyone that asked that was stupid, and I'm not just talking about Bores.

Speaking of E3, I’m looking at the stuff he covered last year. I’m surprised he didn’t review God of War Ascension, unless he’s going to be late to that one. Star Trek just came out to pretty negative reviews. But I get the feeling he’ll give it a positive one because “Star Trek” and “gwaphics” (even though the game doesn’t really look that good).
This year’s E3? June 11th-13th. So the 3-4 weeks following that will be all boring E3 videos of info we could have gotten in five minutes through a Google search.

Bores' First Interview in Nearly Four Years!

Well well, my Facebook informant just linked me something interesting. Bores actually did an interview, his first since 2009 (that being for a French gaming site).
The bad news? It's all about Skylanders. Everything he says in the video is related to what he likes or dislikes about the franchise. ... What? Expecting him to actually talk about his own show or his opinion on the gaming industry? HA!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5oOrbNHruM

The interview was done for "thetitaniumdrago", a YouTube channel that focuses on Skylanders. Not much to say really.
However, this shows that Bores still hasn't recovered from the UNN incident. He only agreed to do an interview if he talked about his favorite new toy and nothing else. I look forward to when Skylanders finally ends and Bores will have all these toys lying around.
It will happen, especially with Disney throwing their hat into the ring with Disney Infinity, and Nintendo showcasing the Wii U's NFC Reader with Pokemon Rumble U. Market saturation will strike again, much like Guitar Hero (remember that Activision? How you released 4-5 games a year and burnt the entire genre out?)

As for what's next... fuck if I know. This has been such a non-active year that it's anyone's guess to what's next.

Cobra's Newest Weapon: A Smear Campaign Against a Good G.I. Joe Game

Bores declaring that this is the “Year of the Irate Gamer” is nothing new. At the end of every year, Bores promises the next one will be his biggest ever, but then he slacks off and ends up putting out less content than before. 2013 has been his worst year yet. We’re four months in and he’s only put out 10 videos, including the subject of this recap.

Going by the title, he’ll be looking at G.I. Joe on the NES. Which one? There’s the first game released in 1991 simply called “G.I. Joe”, and there’s a second game released the following year called “G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor”. Considering the video is only 7:30 long, I seriously doubt he’ll cover both games.

Why do G.I. Joe now? Because the newest movie came out in theaters. I can tell this by the addition of “retaliation” in parenthesis at the end. I love how that part is clearly an afterthought, doing that in the hopes that people will search “G.I. Joe Retaliation” and come across his video. Even though he’s reviewing a game from the 90’s. Bores am smrt!
I wonder, in the alternate timeline where Retaliation wasn’t delayed 9 months, what would Bores be doing now?

0:00 - 0:17: *insert intro here*

0:18 - 1:09: Like last time, IG is doing the NES G.I. Joe because the new movie is out in theaters. Say Bores, why not give us reviews of A Good Day to Die Hard or G.I. Joe Retaliation? Then people wouldn’t give you so much grief for taking over three fucking weeks to release a new video. Given that there was no “Top 10 Summer Movies” list again, it sounds like he’s done with the movie reviews. He might surprise me in May when Iron Man 3 comes out though.

He starts the game and goes over the story, then moves on to the characters. He starts complaining about the roster as they don’t use well-known characters like Roadblock or Shipwreck, and notices they put Blizzard over Snow Job. Here’s something you need to remember (and everyone else too), G.I. Joe is an action figure franchise. Any tie-in media is related to the action figures. Since this game was released in 1991, it’s not related to the show you’re familiar with, specifically the mid-80’s series from Sunbow Productions. There was however a second series from DiC Entertainment running at the time, but again, it’s very likely this game is based on the action figures released at the time. Hell, the Wikipedia article for this game mentions that General Hawk was based in the 1991 action figure.

He begins to think that Snow Job isn’t in the game because his name sounds like blowjob. But before he could finish that thought, a hand comes out of nowhere and puts tape over his mouth. The camera then reveals a poorly animated Flint is in his room giving a PSA about foul language. Is this why the review took so long? This shitty looking Flint?
Bores isn’t even trying with the voice. It’s just his normal voice but more authoritative.

IG walks up to him and tells him to get out the hell out. Since IG is a massive Stu, Flint backs away scared.

1:09 - 1:59: IG starts the game and immediately starts complaining about everything being too hard. This is going to be one of those videos isn’t it?
He brings up how the first boss is a fighter jet, and it looks like he’s jumping into it. You do realize that you’re supposed to avoid the boss right?
He claims the worst part is when you get a game over, you see Cobra Commander laughing at you in front of fire. IG won’t take that and says he can do that too, and for no reason his background explodes into flames. The sad thing is I could tell he was going to do a green screen gag because his flailing hand movements had green on them.

He then claims the jet is Cobra Commander over-compensating for his small penis. How cute, Bores is trying to be edgy again. Still duller than a rock.
Actually, there’s something I noticed. In one of his Skylanders videos, he mentions his girlfriend’s kids. Are they the reason he’s made everything so clean? Are they the reason why his recent output feels less like videos made for the internet and more like cheesy 70’s or 80’s videos your teachers would show you when they don‘t feel like working?

2:00 - 2:30: IG notes that after a while, he notices a pattern. He gets killed, his new character kills the jet, and then another jet flies in. IG takes a glass off his shelf and douses himself with water. Why do you have a glass of water on top of your game shelf? If you want something to drink, get yourself a side table. It seems like a bad idea to put liquids on top of a shelf full of old cartridges.

IG then follows that with another interaction with the narrator bit. Why does he keep doing these? They’re not funny. Unless the fans somehow think that because they’re dumb 11 year old kids that have never seen this type of joke before. It’s called Winnie the Pooh.

2:30 - 3:06: As the … *sighs* narrator pointed out before, it’s on to stage 2.
You need to go around collecting detonators and once you do you can fight the stage boss. IG doesn’t recognize him, and starts gushing over how G.I. Joe has some of the greatest villains in cartoon history yet the game chose “Raptor Man”. Actually it’s just Raptor but whatever…

He then wonders who designed the game. That would be Kindle Imagine Develop, or KID for short. A Japanese company with very few games actually released outside of their native land. They were also behind The Atlantis Factor.

But no, that question was just leading to a CAD-esque “the punchline is violence” bit where a man (Bores in a blonde wig) comes in and says he’s responsible, prompting IG to shoot him with his NES zapper. Then he says “because I don’t like you, here’s one for your ass” as he sticks the Zapper up his ass and shoots him. Complete with squish sound and blood spray. Our hero ladies and gentlemen! A complete psycho. Remind me how he’s the “chosen one” meant to stop the Shadow Overlord and save the world?

3:06 - 4:05: He beats stage 3 (which is actually stage 1-3), and we see the base explode, causing a lot of flashing lights. Instead of a seizure joke, IG just puts on a pair of sunglasses.
He moves on to the next mission, set in Antarctica. He comments on everyone except Blizzard freezing their balls off, then out of nowhere, Sub Zero appears and says Toasty. Oh come on! That one didn’t even make sense! Why was that needed?!

He moves through the level until he gets to the boss, and complains it’s another plane. After a while he runs out of ammo and starts punching it defeating it. Then he claims bullets can’t kill it but punching does. Nooo, just damaging it works. Bullets or fists, you did enough damage after a while to win. It’s like taking out most of a boss with a sub- machinegun, the finishing it with your knife. How this concept is foreign to you after nearly six years of doing this I don’t understand!

Oh and he follows it up with yet another water splash to the face, but this time he follows it with biting his NES controller cord and shocking himself somehow. Wha…?
By the way, build-up to a rule of three gag. Because that seems to be all Bores knows.

4:06 - 4:55: He gets to another stage where has to find detonators (or as he calls it “hide and go shit”), and complains about the plat forming. It doesn’t look that hard really. In fact, I’ve heard this is actually a pretty decent game.
He falls down a part he can’t get out of, wondering how he gets out. At one point saying “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon my way out?” I don’t get it, does he mean kung-fu jump? Your references don’t make sense Bores!
He figures out the grenades go through the floor be he can drop his own f-bomb, then he’s about to “rage” by saying “motherfucker” but cuts himself off. Just say “fuck” you dumb fuck, I don’t know why you’re stopping now. Oh right, your girlfriend’s kids Just tell them not to watch! Is that why your videos now have ratings?

4:56 - 5:37: He moves onto the next stage (which he calls a clusterfuck, oh hey he said it) and blah blah it’s hard and I can’t do it blah blah blah.
He follows it with a montage of him dying and reacting with teeth-baring constipation, I mean anger. He’s also fake playing his controller. Oh man I’ve missed this awfulness, just everything that can go wrong does!
Then he ends this bit by grabbing his NES shelf and tipping it over. Oh yeah, I’m sure that’s doing a lot of good for the games. Just tossing them to the ground like that, go ahead and make all the legit retro game collectors watching cringe. In fact, you don’t care. These games are nothing more than a prop to you. You only use this room for your YouTube job. You don’t actually care about gaming.

5:38 - 6:24: Game Genie time? Nope, instead he just uses a password to skip ahead. Fine, but he better beat the game, he can’t wuss out like he did with Mission: Impossible.
He notes that the elevator sewer level looks similar to the elevator level in The Simpsons Arcade game, but writes it off as a coincidence. As you should, since The Simpsons Arcade game came out a couple months after this one. Also, elevator levels are pretty common.
Then he moves on to the next stage and notes it looks like a stage from Contra. Games having similar levels? Impossible! In fact, why just accuse that stage of ripping off Contra? Go whole hog! Say the entire game is a rip-off since you run around and shoot stuff! Hell, say it rips off Contra Force because of the different characters? Oh what’s that? Contra Force came out a year after G.I. Joe? That’s never stopped Bores!

Then he compares the next level to the desert level from Super Mario Bros. 2. … You need glasses. Those two look nothing alike. Oh he was “joking”. … Knowing your limited knowledge of games, that wouldn’t surprise me.
Oh but wait, he claims that the helicopter follows you around like… Lakitu. … No no no no no no no no NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!
Those two are nothing alike! How do you see that? Also, enemies that follow you around is such a common trope in gaming that…. How do people think you’re legit? I thought you ran out of stupid surprises but… wooooow. Just wow.

Oh wait, this was all set-up for yet another “joke”. He calls up… Mario, and asks if he can “see this shit”. He responds “Mamma Mia” (apparently he couldn’t even get a voice clip) and IG calls it a … “turd burgler”. My head hurts, at least this is almost over.
Wait how can Mario see it? This type of scene only works when two guys are watching something on TV, something that’s happening live. IG is playing a game, a single-player game that can only be seen on his TV since the NES is hooked up to only his TV, and it’s impossible for the NES to go online for other people to see. You know, this joke only works when it involves live TV. How do you mess up such simple ideas?

The video ends with IG quickly moving through the rest of the game, bringing up other bosses and complaining some more about a boss that isn’t from the show he watched as a child (psst, action figures) and that only Destro and Cobra Commander deserve to be there.
“After 18 levels of lackluster levels” Horrid repetition, this really does feel like another old review.
He beats the game and is told to move on to the second quest, but he refuses. He then tells everyone if they see this game, they should destroy it (and he does just that by throwing it in the air and shooting it with his zapper), and signs off with “Knowing is half the battle” and the “G.I. Jooooe” jingle. Yeah, good luck keeping that last part on your DVD.

That review was awful.
All he really said about the game was that it was hard. The difficulty looks fair, it doesn’t look insanely cheap like other “bad hard” games. He could support his argument if he said anything about the controls, but he didn’t. So this might be another case of “The game doesn’t suck, IG just sucks at it”.
The sketches were lame, especially that terribly animated Flint, and the jokes were not funny or didn’t make a lick of sense. It really did feel like an old review, with massive lapses in research and the weird way he says “buddy”.
I will applaud him for not using that “splashing water” joke a third time.

Honestly, this game actually looks decent. It certainly looks better than the 2009 movie tie-in “The Rise of Cobra”, with its Dreamcast graphics, boring gameplay and inconsistent sound (Cobra members yelling “Go Joe!”). So Bores “destroyed” a good game because he has to do it every time or else. Fuck all of this.

By the way, nothing related to his storyline happened. That’s two videos in a row where the story was completely ignored. Did he give up on it? I hope so, it was a confusing mess.
So much for “Season 4 being (his) movie” now. Otherwise, fifteen and a half minutes would just be padding.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz- huh wha? Anything yet? Nope..

Once again, we've gone a long period where Bores hasn't uploaded anything. It's been almost three weeks since that Uncle O'Grimacy video.

I know a lot of people are wondering about the Redux Recaps. I have had zero motivation to do them. Even with the long gaps of nothing, I just find myself doing other things.

According to my Facebook informant, Bores mentioned he is working on a review. I get the feeling he started it from scratch a day or two after the last one, as in he hasn't even played the game.

I'm also making this post because the last one exceeded 200 comments, and things get weird when that happens.

Blob-for-Brains Talks About Green Blob While Drinking Green Blob-Like Milkshake Substitute

Shambling in like an Irish drunk, it’s a new I Rate the 80’s video! It’s a short one too so this post will probably be a quick read.

What’s he going to talk about this time? A fast food mascot. We’ve got food!
Specifically, Uncle O’Grimacey, the short-lived green Grimace used to promote McDonald’s Shamrock Shakes, a green mint-flavored shake only sold around St. Patrick’s Day. Meaning, it’s a holiday episode everyone. Joyous…

Also, if there’s a chance of him doing a terrible Irish accent, I apologize in advance to all my Irish readers. If you exist.

0:01 - 0:20: The intro plays as usual, when suddenly the “80’s” becomes “70’s”, the background goes green, and Irish music begins playing. The fuck? Didn’t see that coming! Unless I read the description before watching this. Still, this is new.

Yes, Uncle O’Grimacey was created in 1977, which is strange that he’d “change it up” since the TMNT cereal was released in 1990, and the Bud Bowl may have started in 1989 but most of the campaigns took place during the 90’s. Seems a tad inconsistent.

Also, IG has an Uncle O’Grimacey shirt.

0:20 - 0:59: We cut to an old McDonald’s commercial (don’t be too excited, I imagine the modern stock footage will be back next time) as IG gives a history lesson. Nothing too horrid so far…
He brings up one commercial for the shakes had the Grimace drinking so many that he turned green. Then we cut to IG’s TV with the commercial footage imposed on it, complete with the time code on the bottom of it. Now that just looks awkward. You couldn’t have just edited it to you watching the commercial?
In fact, that’s exactly what the next shot is. Then a badly animated Grimace with an MS Paint face floats in, KNOCKS IG HEADFIRST into the table and steals his Shamrock Shake. Jeez, that’s a bit violent. Did the Grimace scare you as a kid or something? You put him in your Resident Evil 5 video as a bad jump scare, and here you make him a violent asshole that uses mob techniques to get his milkshakes. It’s not even funny either.

Oh and IG somehow finds a shamrock on his floor. Even though they’re plants, and they grow outside. Is his floor made of grass now?

0:59 - 1:50: “Then in 1974” That’s the wrong year. I said it earlier but he was created in 1977, a few years off. Maybe that’s why Bores changed it to “I Rate the 70’s” for this episode, because he thinks it’s earlier than it really is.

He shows various commercials with the green blob monster,  then points out that “if this voice sounds familiar” and refers to a cartoon with some yellow thing in a cowboy hat. Okay, who is this? What is this character’s name? What’s the voice actor’s name? What’s this about? Explain it Chris! If you’re trying to be “educational” and make a comparative reference, it helps that you provide some names. You can’t just show this thing and expect everyone to get it, especially when it looks like it’s from the 70’s, and most of your fans were born after 1999.
You can make all the shitty Family Guy jokes you want Chris, but when you go “If this is familiar, then it’s because of this” and show a character you expect us to know without explaining it, then you fail as a reviewer! How have you been doing this for nearly six years and YOU STILL DON’T GET IT!

If someone shows a movie/TV/game clip as a response to what they’re talking about (like as a snaky comment or running gag) then that’s different.

Of course, this prompts another “character walks in joke” with that yellow thing walking in on IG and he flicks him away. Of course……..

1:51 - 2:15: IG mentions various Uncle O’Grimacey merch and lists some of it off, then he gets interrupted by Lucky the Lucky Charms Leprechaun adding his jingle to it. You mean the same Lucky Charms you claim has been ruined? This is the second main video in a row where you referenced Lucky Charms, are you trying to tell us something?

He reaches the end and note how O’Grimacey was phased out along with other McDonaldland characters, but that’s a story for another episode. I imagine it will be out the same time as that Kinnikuman Nisei episode you promised, or that Simpsons NES games review, or that Castlevania review, or that Deadly Towers review. Boy he has a lot of empty promises.

We get to his rating. He barely remembers O’Grimacey but since McDonaldland is nostalgic, it gets an “Overload”. Oh look, the same logic he applied to the TMNT cereal. “It wasn’t very good, but TMNT is awesome”. What’s odd is that he says O’Grimacey was phased out by the 80’s, and if he believes his 1974 claim, then Bores would have been… one when he disappeared.

The video ends with IG telling everyone to “Shamrock it up” and he drinks from his shake and turns green.

That was… bothersome.
When it wasn’t boring, it was wrong or vague, two of the worst things you can do as a reviewer. I’d say he slapped this together just to get something out before Sunday, but there was three bits of animated characters and knowing how lazy he is, this was probably weeks in the making. Then again, he had Shamrock Shakes in the video. Feh, I don’t know or care anymore.
This really should have been about the entirety of McDonaldland. It might have had more substance to it. Oh who am I kidding? It would have been just as bad.

At least he didn't attempt a bad Irish accent on-screen.

Has Something Finally Happened?

Holy shit! He posted a new video!
*checks* It's another contest. *eye-twitch* For his poster.
*flips table* This is ridiculous...

Remember how he said 2013 would be his year? Ha! We're in March now and he's only put out 8 videos. Only two of which I'll classify as new content. No, I'm not counting his idiotic history revision.

He mentioned that the next two videos are an I Rate the 80s and a retro review. He also goes into some crap about History of Video Games taking a long time and how the games are rare and expensive. Hang on, isn't the next episode about the Atari 2600? What's exactly so rare and expensive about that? Unless he's looking for Chase the Chuck Wagon, and I'm fairly certain he will never afford a copy of that.

Here's some stuff from my Facebook informant.

A fan asked about the side content in Skylanders Giants and what he thought about it.
IG told him he "doesn't care for sidequests". You do realize that an "in-depth" review means you go into as many details as you can right? That should include side content, otherwise it sounds like you added "in-depth" to make the video sound more important than it really is, and that the title would be a big fat lie.
He also said that the sidequests in Arkham City were "meh". Did we play the same Arkham City? That game had awesome sidequests. The Mad Hatter's tea party, finding Nora Fries, finding Azrael, confronting Hush. Did you even play the entire game?
Granted, Bores is a fraud gamer that doesn't understand how sidequests can help a game. Like Jon and Arin, he just seems to rush through as quick as possible instead of taking time to enjoy it. By the way, the Grumps have gone way downhill for a while now.

A while ago, someone asked about Action 52. IG told him that "the game doesn't have enough material". BULL! SHIT! That game is nothing BUT material! It's 52 terrible games in one! How is that "not enough"? You're lying to get out of reviewing it aren't you? Because you don't have the patience to play 52 games.

There is other stuff, but I feel those were the parts worth mentioning.

Bores better keep a close eye on his Blip account. The site is planning to do a quality cleaning and multiple channels will be taken down for not meeting their guidelines. Blip hasn't made it clear what the guidelines are yet, but everyone is watching their ass to avoid elimination.

That's all for now. Pfft, year of Irate Gamer. Yeah right.

There's Still a Lack of Activity.

I'm sorry that there hasn't been any updates for a while. Again, it relates back to when Bores decides to put out a new video. He hasn't posted anything to GotGame since January, and the last two videos since the Die Hard review were another damn Skylanders video and a reupload of the last Neo review.

Really I made this post to have a clean comments section since I know some of you don't like how Blogspot forces you to load more whenever it gets over 200.
